While staying in Trenton be sure to visit the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library and St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church. Both landmarks were built in the 19th century and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Other places of interest include the Soldiers’ Monument, the John Hack Gravesite and the Moberly Park War Memorial. Grundy County Museum is a definite stop on any visitor’s itinerary. Dedicated in 1976, the museum is home to the Baker School No. 49, and houses information and artifacts relating to the heritage of the area.
