Wright Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Grundy County and its surrounding communities. Featuring 24-hour emergency and surgical services, inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic testing, rehabilitation, home care, and primary care services, Wright Memorial is ready to serve the needs of the community.
In 2006, the hospital will see the implementation of digital radiology services and the beginnings of their electronic medical record system. Wright Memorial Home Health and Hospice provides home care services to residents in need. The hospital works with the nonprofit organization LifeFlight Eagle to provide air transportation for patients in need of services better attained at a larger facility. LifeFlight Eagle is the air transportation of choice when time is critical.
Closer to home, Serve Link provides home health, in-home care and Lifeline services. For those who wish to remain at home and live independently, Serve Link may be the answer. Providing everything from nursing to personal care, and meal preparation to laundry assistance, Serve Link employees look forward to helping residents who are forced to live at home. Lifeline is a personal emergency response and support system that provides medical help at the touch of a button.
Preferred Family Healthcare provides mental healthcare services, outpatient and inpatient drug and alcohol treatment to adults and adolescents in the area, family counseling and many other types of counseling and offer employee assistance programs for area programs. They take fees on a sliding scale based on one’s ability to pay.
Grundy County Learning Center provides a workshop type environment for workers with disabilities. They provide many services to area businesses such as mailings, shredding, and assembly.
Dr. John Holcomb, a local optometrist, offers high quality vision care for many area residents. The practice prides itself in delivering a great value to its patients.
