Having served on the Chamber Board of one of the hottest growth areas in Missouri for several years, we can say that the new century is going to be an exciting one for the Waynesville-St. Robert area! Things are happening in so many directions that it's hard to absorb it all, and as soon as you do, it all changes.

The recent growth of Fort Leonard Wood, future expansion possibilities there, the Business Research Park, and the exploding civilian commercial and housing expansion off-post are just phenomenal.

The Waynesville-St. Robert Area Chamber has recently partnered with other Chambers in Pulaski County to place a successful county tourism tax on the ballot, and a new Pulaski County Visitor's Center is in the planning stages as one result.

Many new corporate logos are in the air, and there are many new involved players in the local economy. The growth we are enjoying is beginning to feed upon itself. This is a situation we've fought to attain for years.

Again, it's an exciting time for all of us. We encourage you to get aboard, get involved, and help to build a bright future for the entire region while the door is wide open.

Sincerely,

Twyla Cordry
