West St. Louis County offers a broad spectrum of housing choices to suit a variety of lifestyles. The area has everything from modestly priced homes and apartments to sprawling country estates. Although each of the communities of Ballwin, Clarkson Valley, Ellisville, Manchester, Valley Park, and Wildwood is unique, the cities all share one common bond; a strong interest in offering positive, family-oriented programs, maintaining quality education at all levels, and building a safe, comfortable environment where residents can live and work.
Ballwin, by integrating the residential and business communities, has been able to waive a municipal property tax for its residents because of annual revenue generated from the local businesses. Clarkson Valley is primarily a residential community of prestigious, beautifully designed estates set on large lots. The community boasts a country-like atmosphere where one might see deer wander across a road at night.

Lot sizes vary from one-half to three acres.
