Many West St. Louis County Chamber members volunteer their valuable time and effort to help our membership prosper and grow, as well as to enhance the business and residential communities, all while networking! The Chamber invites all members to take part in our committees. We welcome your participation!
Ambassadors & Mentors Committee
The Ambassadors & Mentors Committee members serve as official hosts and goodwill representatives at various Chamber functions, meetings and special events. They officially welcome new businesses that join the Chamber by organizing and attending ribbon-cutting ceremonies, as well as mentor new members.
The Auction Committee members join forces to organize this fundraiser that features silent and live auctions, entertainment and fine dining. The auction provides a showcase for members products and services and allows the Chamber to raise money for important programs and services.
Business Expo & Job Fair Committee
The Business Expo and Job Fair Committee plans, organizes and executes the Chambers annual community-wide Business Expo and Job Fair. This event is a service the Chamber provides to its members, giving them the opportunity to showcase their products and services to local residents and businesses at a nominal fee.
Golf Classic Committee
The Golf Classic Committee plans, organizes and conducts a golf tournament enjoyed by members and non-members alike. The Golf Classic is designed to be a fun, social event that allows the Chamber to raise money for valuable programs and services, while giving members the chance to network and promote their business.
Government Affairs & Transportation Committee
The Government Affairs & Transportation Committee monitors local, state and federal issues that may impact the business community and our cities. They develop and take appropriate positions on key issues that affect the Chambers membership and communities. The committee also promotes transportation solutions to help reduce current traffic congestion and encourage long-term traffic planning.
Membership Development Committee
The Membership Development Committee spreads the word about the many opportunities offered by the Chamber, while recruiting new members and retaining current members.
Programs & Seminars Committee
The Programs & Seminars Committee develops informative programs for the General Membership Meeting luncheons that relate to local businesses and the community. Additionally, the committee develops educational seminars for the advancement of our members and the community. The committee is responsible for locating and engaging top-quality speakers, who are experts on the selected topics.
