Perkins Pavilion, on the campus of Good Samaritan Society – Hastings Village, is licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services as a skilled nursing facility. All 165 beds are dual-certified for Medicare and Medicaid, if patients qualify. End-of-life care, in a Christian Community of Care, is also provided for those in need of hospice.

All medical care is prescribed by each resident’s primary care physician, including treatments, medications, diets, therapies, home visitations and outpatient programs including home health. The staff of Perkins Pavilion is trained to provide the most intensive nursing care available outside of a hospital.

A short-term rehabilitation unit, with 25 beds, is available for those who need intense, short-term rehabilitation for two to four weeks. The needed therapies – speech, physical and occupational therapy – are immediately accessible as needed. Our post-acute rehabilitation offer one of the lowest re-hospitalization rates and allows a high percentage of discharged residents to return home or to a lower level of care.
