Shopping and Dining

While a stop at Cabela’s retail store is a must when visiting Sidney, make sure you save a little money for the other great shopping opportunities in Cheyenne County!

Antique-hunters will come across some great finds in one of the many antique stores in the area, and don’t miss Potter’s Flea Market for one-of-a-kind goods, both new and old. Shoppers will also find excellent clothing stores, book shops, health and beauty centers, and much more in and around Cheyenne County.

Historic Downtown Sidney

Historic Downtown Sidney is the shopping and dining center of Cheyenne County. Unique shops offer clothing, books, jewelry and more, and with Sidney’s small-town atmosphere, chances are once you’ve stopped in a time or two the shopkeepers and store owners will greet you by name. Dining options are plentiful here too, whether you are looking for a cup of coffee, a full meal or a dessert after your meal, you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for. Plus, in Downtown Sidney, window-shopping can be just as much fun as actual shopping. The quaint streets lined with historic buildings make for a very pleasant walk, whether you are shopping or not.

If you are looking for larger shopping centers or major chains, you’ll find those too. Cheyenne County’s great highway system creates easy access to nearby towns, making it easy to find whatever it is you are looking for.
