Burlington County offers a diverse mix of historical sites, year-round visual and performing arts attractions, as well as many seasonal festivals and special events that bring a high quality of life and unique local flavor to the area.

Some of the larger annual events include the Blueberry and Cranberry festivals and the County Farm Fair, celebrating the region’s rich agricultural heritage. Other popular events include the Fall Foliage Float Festival with canoeing on the Rancocas Creek, Arts in the Park where visitors can interact with artists in action, Festival of Lights boat parade on the Delaware River, Wood Street Fair in historic Burlington City, Olde Marlton Fall Festival, the Holiday Celebration at Smithville and Dickens Festival in picturesque Medford. The County also provides free family entertainment every weekend during the summer at its outdoor amphitheater.

The Burlington County Division of Cultural Affairs and Tourism administers a large variety of activities for all ages, and maintains a calendar listing of events throughout the county on its Web site, which can be accessed by going to www.co.burlington.nj.us.
