Location and Transportation

Woodbridge Township is comprised of 10 individual towns located in the northern part of Middlesex County, New Jersey. The township – often called the “Crossroads of New Jersey” – spans approximately 26 square miles and is conveniently positioned right between New York City and Philadelphia.

The Garden State Parkway makes traveling anywhere in New Jersey quick and easy, stretching across the entire 172-mile span of the state. The New Jersey Turnpike and U.S. Highways 1, 9 and 287 are all easily accessible and can get drivers wherever they need to go. Those heading to New York City can take Route 440 which will lead them right through Staten Island and into the city.

Public transportation is another great option for commuters. Bus and train services are provided through Academy Bus, Amtrak and New Jersey Transit. New Jersey Transit has a station right in Woodbridge, and Metro Park Station in nearby Iselin houses both Amtrak and New Jersey Transit lines.

For a longer journey, national and international flights are available at Newark Liberty International Airport, about 12 miles from Woodbridge.
