Letter from the Chair

letter

There may be many reasons why you may be looking at this year’s edition of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory, but in all cases I want to thank you for your interest in Las Cruces and its business community.

As a Chamber, we recognize that there are many reasons why individuals come to the Chamber. We offer helpful assistance and many resources, such as our user-friendly website and informational materials. We all believe that Las Cruces is a diverse and incredible city to live and do business in. As a Chamber, we have been working for many years to be a significant point of contact for individuals, businesses and anyone looking to know more about Las Cruces, get involved in our city and make a positive difference in the Las Cruces community and our region.

When looking at this directory we ask that you give our members a try. Being a Chamber member is not an inclusive endorsement of products and services, but it does provide a great place to start. With over 1,000 members, just about any product or service can be located in this directory.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our current members and let you know that we appreciate your involvement with the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce. If you are not currently a Chamber member, we invite you to consider joining and see the difference. Becoming a member gives you the tools and resources to build your business by utilizing great advertising opportunities, getting involved in the community and the key to growing your business, ”networking.” Joining the Chamber offers you the ability to network with business owners and individuals.

The Chamber is involved in many activities, but I would like to expand on a few. The Chamber is involved in various advocacy programs. With our Governmental Affairs Division and Community Development, we look to continue to be involved with important issues involving the present and future of our community. We continue to advocate on behalf of businesses to ensure the continued growth and prosperity for our community, the people who live here and the businesses that support it.

Our Member Services Division works to provide many opportunities for members to network. Whether it is at Business After Hours, Good Morning Las Cruces, Quarterly Luncheons, Small Business workshops or the multiple programs we provide, we invite you to come visit with us, be involved and take advantage of what the Chamber has to offer.

As for advertising, we offer so many opportunities to advertise your business, may it be through our events or website, which receives over 30,000 hits a month!

Our publications are widely viewed and our monthly newsletter, ”The Bottom Line,” is distributed throughout the community on a monthly basis. As a Chamber, we have worked hard to identify many opportunities for you to get in front of our membership and the entire community.

Las Cruces is a community full of history, excitement and possibility, and our goal is to help make you successful within it. There are so many regional activities that will continue to help Las Cruces grow, succeed and be a place to visit or retire. Thank you and please remember that our Chamber is here for you.
