Transportation Services

Victor has become an attractive location for businesses and residences alike, in part because of the town’s ideal location at the junction of the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) and Route 490.

New York State Thruway

From Exit 45 of the Thruway, businesses can easily transport their goods and services to Syracuse or Buffalo, both of which are about an hour’s drive away. Commuters can easily hop on Route 490, which connects to other major thoroughfares, and be in downtown Rochester within 20 minutes.

Air transportation is available in a short 20-minute drive to Greater Rochester International Airport. New carriers like Jet Blue have made air fares more affordable for all.

In addition, Victor is served by the Ontario Central Railroad, an independently owned short-line rail service that runs from Victor to Shortsville, New York. In Shortsville, the rail line connects to another line that allows businesses to transport raw materials or freight throughout the country on major lines such as CSX or Norfolk Southern.
