In total, more than 10 percent of all bio-pharmaceutical jobs in North Carolina exist in Clayton. Never satisfied with a good thing, Johnston County and the Town of Clayton have partnered with North Carolina State University to create the Workforce Development Center where in-service and prospective employees of the ever growing bio-pharma industry can achieve advance training and applied degrees.
