Annie Oakley Days honors native daughter Phoebe Ann Moses. Held the last weekend of July, the festival features the annual Miss Annie Oakley Shooting Contest, Gambler’s Shootout, historical tours, olde tyme melodrama, arts/crafts and flea market, and parade.

The Steam Threshers Reunion held mid-July draws one of the largest displays of antique steam engines and threshers to be found anywhere. This nostalgic get-together offers demonstrations in threshing wheat, sawing lumber and other agriculture-related events.graphic
