Serving Educational Needs
Fairborn is served by the Fairborn City Schools system, parochial schools, Wright State University, and by both military and civilian vocational and training schools. Wright State University features more than 100 undergraduate and 46 graduate and professional degrees.
Besides being home to the nation’s oldest civilian aerospace medical training program, Wright State also sponsors basic research in many scientific disciplines, and is one of only three universities in Ohio to host the state’s program to improve teacher education. Its School of Medicine has been rated among the country’s top 50 primary care schools.
