The Maumee Senior Center serves the older adult population in the Maumee area with a variety of programs and services. The Center is located at 2430 S. Detroit Avenue and is open Monday through Friday, plus special weekend activities.

Programs at the Center include health and wellness programming, such as exercise classes, nutrition information, weight control class, and health screenings. Educational opportunities are available in art, computers, speakers, a musical chorus, and book discussions. Organized travel includes one-day, overnight and multi-day trips. There are also widow/widower support groups, and social functions such as cards, bingo, breakfasts, suppers, and many special events.

The Center is a focal point for information on community resources for older adults and their families and assists in accessing these resources. Volunteer opportunities are available at the Center for those wishing to become involved. Assistance is available for questions on insurance, income tax preparation, housing availability, and other information of interest to older adults.

Noon meals are served Monday through Friday. Transportation is available to the Center for those living in the Maumee School District.
