Ready to Serve You

County leaders recently built a government center on the north end of Waverly (the county seat) that houses the majority of government offices. There are three county commissioners for Pike County who control budget, approve zoning, approve annexations to cities and villages, and set overall policy.

The towns in Pike County offer services including fire and police departments, street department, water and sewer departments, and building and zoning administration. A sheriff’s department handles calls and security measures throughout the county.
