Guthrie and Logan County is conveniently located in central Oklahoma, approximately 20 miles north of Oklahoma City along the I-35 corridor. State Highway 33 runs through Guthrie for easy east-west travel. What’s more, the area is just 30 miles north of the “Crossroads of America” where I-40 and I-35 intersect.

Located in Guthrie, this facility is governed by an Interlocal Governmental Agreement between the City of Edmond and the City of Guthrie. More than $6 million has been invested in this airport by the FAA, Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission, the City of Guthrie and the City of Edmond over the past seven years. Significant capital improvements include a jet capable 5,200-foot runway, taxiways, lighting and a new terminal building. Currently, more than 100 aircrafts are based at the airport along with several aviation companies. Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport is also a designated Foreign Trade Zone.

WILL ROGERS WORLD AIRPORT

Located 45 minutes south, in Oklahoma City, this airport serves all commercial travel for the area. Operating three runways, Will Rogers can accommodate any size aircraft. Commercial carriers at Will Rogers average about 85 departures per day. Will Rogers is home to 67 companies including the FAA's Mike Moroney Aeronautical Center.

Thirty vehicles provide On-Demand Services, a Scheduled Transit Route and Historic Trolley Tours throughout Guthrie’s Historic District. On-Demand Trolley vans provide “taxi” services and are available to take citizens to doctor’s appointments, to visit friends in the area or travel to and from work. Scheduled Routes circle hourly, Monday-Friday, seven times each day throughout Guthrie for a fare of only one dollar.
