We are very fortunate to have such great leadership here in our region and that there are many excellent partners that have a vision and work together very well. We are fortunate to have great leaders at the capital in Representative Greg Smith and Senator Bill Hansell, as well as local leaders in the City of Hermiston, Umatilla County, Good Shepherd Health Care Systems, NOWA, Umatilla Electric Cooperative, Ports of Umatilla and Morrow Counties, Eastern Oregon Telecom, West EDGE, Blue Mt. Community College, Eastern Oregon University and the Hermiston School District.

Hermiston is the largest town in NE Oregon. Today, there are approximately 39,000 people who live within a 12-minute drive of downtown Hermiston. Agriculture and associated industries are what is driving Hermiston’s economy.
What does the Chamber do?
Your chamber will help you get involved in this great community. Discover that meeting prospects and key contacts through the chambers monthly Business to Business meetings, Government Affairs Team, Leadership Hermiston, Latino Business Network, Business Expos, Forums and social events will increase traffic to your door. Doing business with fellow members who offer wonderful products, ideas and services on a local level will increase awareness of how valuable it is to live and work in a community such as ours.
The chamber offers a variety of educational classes and brings in speakers, experts and training specialist on topics that strengthen business and provides the tools to help business growth.
Our goal is to hear about your concerns and interest as we address those issues that affect us on local and state levels. Advocacy is important to our region, economic growth, JOBS and the business environment. Let your voice be heard in the halls of our Oregon State Capital we are very active in, bringing legislators to Eastern Oregon and testifying before committees and government organizations on behalf of our region.

Greater Hermiston Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Club
Chamber Ambassadors is a select organization within the Greater Hermiston Chamber of Commerce and one of the most visible faces of the Chamber. Ambassadors support and promote the Greater Hermiston Chamber activities that are designed to have an impact on strengthening the business climate in our region.
Hermiston Visitor and Conference Center is managed by your Chamber. There is a wide variety of services to book your next event and range of information, magazines and brochures to places throughout the Northwest as well as local interest for those visiting our great city! We are the place to stop if you are looking for businesses, organizations, hotels, places to eat or just looking to explore the great outdoors.
