The story is becoming familiar. Over and over people are saying, “I was only supposed to be here for six months, but I fell in love with Pendleton. Getting Here

Pendleton is located in northeastern Oregon, with almost equal distances to Portland, OR, Spokane, WA, Boise, ID, and Seattle, WA. Pendleton has easy access to I-84, I-82 and US Highways 395 and 11. Fly into the Eastern Oregon Regional Airport on SeaPort Airlines, with several flights a day to and from Portland. Pendleton is also served by Greyhound Buslines.

Finding a Home

Pendleton offers a wide array of housing options for every lifestyle. There are period homes with a variety of architectural styles and 121 properties with historical designations. Newer, upscale homes, apartments, condominiums and rentals are all available. Pendleton also offers a variety of excellent residential care facilities for your loved ones that need extra assistance. Small acreages are available very close to town, and larger ones a little farther outside city limits. If your dream is to build your home, lots and acreages are available as well.

Joining one of the many clubs or volunteering for a specific project is a great way to meet new friends and become part of the community quickly. Pendleton offers a multitude of shopping opportunities, from unique boutiques to familiar chain stores. Well known as a choice destination for antique lovers, there are at least a dozen stores and mini-malls specializing in everything from vintage clothing to furniture and kitchenalia to collectibles. Shopping for western wear and accoutrements is a special treat here too!
