Martin on Main event

In 2008, the C. F. Martin Guitar Company celebrated its 175th Anniversary. The Nazareth Bath Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Nazareth Downtown Association and the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum contacted the company about an idea to celebrate this milestone.

The first annual Martin on Main event was held on Aug. 2, 2008, with center stage at the circle on Main Street featuring acoustic guitar music. The festive event also offered a wide variety of arts and crafts in addition to food and beverage vendors filling Main Street from the circle south to Belvidere Street. An estimated 4,000 people attended this one-day event, which increases in attendance each year. Currently the event draws up to 6,000 people.

The 11th annual Martin on Main event was held Aug. 4, 2018. Be sure to save the date of the 2019 Martin on Main event, always held the first Saturday of August, and enjoy a great day in downtown Nazareth.
