The Greater Susquehanna Valley keeps its traditions and values by consistently volunteering at local community organizations and attending religious services.
Multiple denominations are represented in the area for all religious beliefs and practices. Each place of worship invites current members and new guests to take part in a variety of regularly scheduled worship services. These services are joined by opportunities to explore one’s faith, including Bible study groups, youth groups, outreach, sports programs, vacation Bible schools and many others.
The Valley also offers a wide variety of community organizations, which presents volunteers time to dedicate to a variety of causes, including poverty, homelessness, hunger, youth intervention and much more. The active community helps daily to make a difference in the lives of people in the Susquehanna River Valley and beyond. They continue to raise the quality of life cherished here in Central Pennsylvania.
