We are extremely proud of our local school system, which includes two colleges – Hill College and Texas Wesleyan University – three High Schools, two middle schools, 10 elementary schools, as well as several private schools throughout the neighborhoods of our city.
Situated on the I-35 and SH 174 corridor, Burleson offers the ideal location. In 2014, the Chisholm Trail Parkway, a North Texas Toll Authority freeway, will open. Chisholm Trail will connect Burleson with southwest Fort Worth and Cleburne, improving our regional transportation infrastructure and creating numerous business and industrial opportunities for our region.
Just minutes from I-20 and State Hwy 67, Burleson offers quick access to Texas Rangers Baseball, Dallas Cowboys Stadium, NASCAR, Six Flags Over Texas, the Fort Worth Museum District, Sundance Square, Bass Performance Hall and numerous other family and cultural activities.
The Chamber of Commerce serves as the eyes, ears, and voice of the business community in Burleson.
The Chamber works daily with businesses through a wide variety of programs and services such as special events, monthly mixers, networking opportunities, educational seminars and ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new businesses.
