The Crockett Civic Center is open to the public for special events, exhibits and programs. The Porth AG Arena is a multipurpose, all-weather facility with livestock pens, bucking chutes, a cattle sales facility and more. It has a 2,750-seat capacity, and serves as the agricultural hub of the county.
Sometime around 1935, the Ritz Theater entertained the citizens of Crockett and Houston County. The Ritz is still in existence today; its neon sign still glowing. The Ritz continues to screen first-run movies on a single screen, and the hometown courtesy and friendly atmosphere remains. The high seats are a comfort to sit in, and the balcony (although not in use today) is reminiscent of times gone by.
