graphicThe Lancaster Chamber of Commerce offers many unique opportunities to both citizens and businesses to make business both profitable and pleasurable at the same time. The friendly atmosphere extends from the retail sector to the many manufacturers offering a wide range of services and capabilities. The Chamber of Commerce is forging ahead in community and business support. For businesses we host Network@Noon luncheons giving local businesses networking opportunities.

We also hosted the first "Small Business Day" for the entire Best Southwest area. During the summer we host our summer "Best Practices" breakfasts. Our membership luncheons are used to recognize outstanding teachers and students in our school district, and city employees who have demonstrated extraordinary accomplishments and dedication in their service. Each year the Chamber hosts the annual State of the City address by our Mayor. We host a Candidates Forum for the community and businesses where our candidates have an opportunity to meet their constituents. The Chamber has also begun to sponsor the traditional "Second Saturday On The Square," and to enhance this event we have focused on various themes affecting our community. This year we hosted our first "Prime Time" to allow our new Chamber members the opportunity to show off to the community what they do best in products and services.

graphicAlong with all this, Lancaster is a very unique city in southern Dallas County that has an airport, a municipal golf course, a full service hospital within its city limits, and a 150-year-old Historic Town Square. We recently opened a new 270-acre community park, with recreational center and library that is unparalleled in the whole Metroplex. The school system is one of the most progressive in the county that also strives to improve the opportunities available to students. Lancaster is also the only city in southern Dallas County with a community college located in close proximity. Cedar Valley College has consistently shown a willingness to offer services and support to both citizens and businesses in our area.

The Chamber of Commerce Directors and Staff hope that you find this directory informative and useful as you make your business connections.
