Year-Round Events & Festivals

Year round, Marshall offers an array of festivals and events. Celebrating local culture, heritage, and annual holidays, Marshall’s regular festivals bring community members together and give visitors the chance to experience the excitement and fun of the city.

Stagecoach Day is held on the third Saturday in May to honor the city’s transportation heritage. Contests, tournaments, and a parade are all a part of the festivities. The Fire Ant Festival, held in October, is a 20-plus year tradition. This hilarious event features a variety of events that are fun for the whole family.

The Wonderland of Lights includes parades, the Cowboy Christmas breakfast, candlelight tours of historic homes, and a sparkling display when businesses and residences light up with millions of twinkling lights.
