The Rows of Texas
The span along Interstate 635 has an amazing variety of family friendly entertainment, dining, shopping and lodging options. Every attraction along the Rows of Texas is within a five-minute drive, with convenient expressway access that leads right into Dallas.
Town East Mall and the assorted shopping centers along Town East Boulevard and Town Centre Drive offer a huge selection of retail and specialty stores. There is more than 3.5-million square feet of retail space, including more than 200 stores to explore. Anchor stores at Town East Mall include Dillard’s, Foley’s, JC Penney, and Sears.
The ultimate Texas cowboy experience can be had at Rodeo Row, located at Interstate 635 and Military Parkway. From April through September, professional rodeo action explodes each Friday and Saturday night at Resistol Arena. Bull riding, saddle bronco riding, calf roping and more can be seen. Each year, more than 200,000 spectators gather for the Mesquite Championship Rodeo, which showcases the best rodeo experience and tons of family entertainment.
Mesquite’s Restaurant Row extends along both sides of Interstate 635, from Oates Drive south to Scyene Road. More than 100 dining options line the row, from popular chains and fast food eateries to family-owned restaurants.

The Mesquite Arts Center is home to more than 16 arts groups — including the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, the Mesquite Community Band and the Mesquite Community Theater. It also includes a large art gallery, with exhibits that change on a monthly basis.
Rodeo City Music Hall is foot stomping, hoop’n and hollering good time for the whole family. Branson-style entertainment is performed every Saturday night.
The Devil’s Bowl Speedway is a half-mile, outdoor dirt track that features all types of vehicle racing in action packed competitions from late March through October. The speedway is known worldwide as the birthplace of the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Circuit.
