The Northwest Metroport region has an increasingly large variety of restaurants in addition to quick places to grab a bite to eat. Selection ranges from major chains to mom-and-pop diners. With selections that include Mexican, Chinese, Italian, steak, seafood, barbecue and home-style cooking, anyone can find the perfect place to eat.
There are a variety of specialty shops, boutiques and malls at the fingertips of residents in this region. The City of Roanoke has large chain stores — including The Home Depot and Super Wal-Mart. All six communities have easy access to convenient shopping. Grapevine Mills Mall and Southlake Town Square are only a short drive away.
A variety of hotels and motels are available in the Northwest Metroport region for visitors who want to spend time touring local and area attractions.
Area attractions are just minutes away. Fort Worth offers the Texas Motor Speedway, Fort Worth Zoo, Kimball Art Museum, Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, Bass Performing Hall and the recently opened Cabela’s. Dallas is home to the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Zoo and the American Airlines Center (where The Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars play). Other attractions include NRH20 Water Park, Six Flags Over Texas, Hurricane Harbor and The Ballpark at Arlington (home of the Texas Rangers).
