graphicThe City of Rockdale is a thriving community with a small-town atmosphere in the geographic center of what locals call The Triangle. Roughly a one-hour’s drive from Bryan/College Station to the east, Waco to the north, and Austin to the south; a two-hour drive from Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas/Fort Worth; and a one-hour drive to Interstate highways 35 and 45, Rockdale is perfectly situated as a distribution center.

Coffield Regional Airport, currently in the midst of several major upgrades, can handle most small aircraft. There are also many enthusiastic private pilots who fly in and out of the airport frequently. There are several other municipal airports an hour’s drive from the area in Austin and Georgetown.

The town is also in close proximity to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, a multi-use facility that serves general aviation, commercial aviation, the State Aircraft Pooling Board, and the Texas Army National Guard.
