Powhatan’s Festival of the Grape: On the third Saturday in October, the Courthouse Square is open to 25 wineries, more than 100 arts and craft vendors, amazing food and some of the best music and folks you will find anywhere in the country. This event is the primary fundraiser for the Chamber and we invite everyone to our picturesque and friendly county for wine tasting or historical tours. Powhatan 4th Fridays: This popular event began in 2009 and runs once a month from April through September.
