Brookfield: The Place to Shop & Dine

Throughout southeastern Wisconsin, residents and visitors alike know that Brookfield is “THE” place to shop. Let’s start with the county’s only enclosed mall – Brookfield Square Shopping Center. Since its opening in 1967, Brookfield Square has enjoyed significant success.

Brookfield Square is a regional shopping destination featuring four anchor stores – Boston Store, Sears, JCPenney and Barnes & Noble Booksellers – in addition to The Limited, Ann Taylor Loft, American Eagle and more than 100 other retailers. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Mitchell’s Fish Market, Cooper’s Hawk and Stir Crazy are among the mall’s premier restaurant options, making Brookfield Square much more than just a “shopping” center.

Brookfield Square has worked closely with the City of Brookfield to aggressively redevelop both the center and surrounding area. In 2008, a multi-million-dollar interior renovation was concluded, adding new soft seating areas, a large fireplace and gathering area in the food court, as well as a new water feature in the center court. Plans continue to evolve and grow as future development opportunities rise. Stay tuned for updates and developments on new stores.

When you’re done at Brookfield Square Shopping Center, head west along Bluemound Road and you’ll discover miles of shopping destinations to either side. Dozens of stores in broad plazas surround you along this bustling retail corridor. Behold a wealth of options at every turn, from major brand name stores to quaint villages. Stop in at Brookfield Fashion Center for apparel, specialty wine and more, or dine and spend an afternoon at the stores of Galleria West, The Plaza, The Shoppes at Brookfield Commons and Fountain Square. No day’s excursion would be complete without a visit to the newest addition to Brookfield’s western side, Towne Centre, where you can enjoy gourmet coffee and stock up at the market. And don’t forget to check out the fine stores at Ruby Isle Shopping Center on Calhoun Road, right in the heart of the city.

And that variety awaits you at every turn!

With all of its fine retailers, restaurants, merchants and services right here at home, it’s no wonder that Brookfield has become synonymous with great shopping in southeastern Wisconsin.
