Health Care

When facing an injury or illness - especially when minutes count – it is every family’s desire to have easy access to vital health and wellness services. Plus, it has been shown that receiving care close to home in a healing environment can help speed the recovery process, and help to alleviate what could become a more stressful situation.

The Fond du Lac area is blessed with two quality healthcare networks. Agnesian HealthCare and Aurora Health Center are committed to providing the necessary healthcare facilities and services to keep such care convenient and to be a local resource for living a healthier life through its programs and partnership.

For more than 120 years, Agnesian HealthCare has been a cornerstone within the Fond du Lac region, and it continues its mission to offer high quality services with compassionate care. A total of nine ministries offer a wide array of quality health and wellness services for individuals and families, including Agnesian Pharmacies/Prescription Centers and Agnesian Health Shoppe, Consultants Laboratory, Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, Ripon Medical Center, St. Agnes Hospital, St. Francis Home, Villa Loretto & Villa Rosa, and Waupun Memorial Hospital.

With hospitals in Fond du Lac, Ripon and Waupun, and 19 Fond du Lac Regional Clinic offices, the care of more than 100 primary and specialty care physicians is available. A staff of more than 3,800 associates and physicians are the backbone of Agnesian HealthCare, which is sponsored by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes.

The main Agnesian HealthCare campus, located on East Division Street in Fond du Lac, includes St. Agnes Hospital, Consultants Laboratory and the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic’s primary facility. St. Agnes Hospital offers the convenience of ambulatory surgery with the only 24-hour, fully accredited inpatient surgical facility in Fond du Lac. Agnesian HealthCare provides full family healthcare services, including a cancer center, cardiac care through the Dale Michels Center for Heart Care, an accredited stroke center and sleep center, integrative health services, a wide array of musculoskeletal services through Agnesian Bone & Joint Health and comprehensive women’s health services. The Fond du Lac Regional Clinic offers care for minor injuries and illnesses through the Agnesian Convenient Care Clinic and the Agnesian Clinic at Westwind, while Ripon Medical Center and Waupun Memorial Hospital offer Urgent Care services 24 hours a day. This care is in addition to the 24-hour emergency department services at Ripon Medical Center, St. Agnes Hospital and Waupun Memorial Hospital.

The recent opening of the Treffert Center demonstrates this pioneering spirit. Agnesian HealthCare - in concert with Darold Treffert, MD - has brought all services that offer diagnosis and treatment of autism, behavior and communication disorders together under the umbrella of the Treffert Center.

Consultants Laboratory, a regional reference laboratory that serves southeastern Wisconsin, is the only laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) in Fond du Lac County. It is also accredited by the National Association of Drug Screen Collection Sites.

For Fond du Lac and the surrounding community, as well as for retired members of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes, St. Francis Home and Villa Loretto represent a continuing mission of caring for the sick and elderly with respect and dignity. St. Francis Home provides a full continuum of care - including skilled care, assisted living, independent living and rehabilitation opportunities. Villa Rosa offers 20 assisted living apartments in Mt. Calvary.

Agnesian Pharmacies/Prescription Centers serve customers through six retail locations in Fond du Lac, Markesan and Waupun. The Agnesian Health Shoppe, 307 Camelot Drive in Fond du Lac, offers a complete line of quality home health and respiratory equipment, from sales and rentals to repairs.
