Jefferson is a great place to spend the day. The Downtown district and the surrounding areas offer a wide array of shopping opportunities that include art galleries, an antique shop, resale stores, appliances, floor covering store, spa, hair salon and seasonal garden shops. Plus, June through October, visit the Jefferson Farmers Market for fresh local produce.

Dining options are just as plentiful, with a number of sit-down restaurants, fast food options, coffee shops and ice cream parlors all ready to satisfy any craving. Just a few of the local eateries are Brickhaus Cafe, Fairview Sports Bar, Hi-Way Harry’s, Pine Cone, Rock Bottom Bar & Grill, Subway, The Heron’s Landing, Wayside Inn, Wedl’s Hamburger & Ice Cream Parlor and The Edge Restaurant located at Rivers Edge Meat Market.

If you’re staying the night, Jefferson provides an excellent list of accommodations to make you feel right at home. In Jefferson there’s the Hilltop Motel and Rodeway Inn. Comfort Suites is located five miles to the north and Holiday Inn is five miles to the south. These lodging options offer a great list of amenities such as meeting rooms, swimming pools and a Convention Center.
