walking trail

We are blessed with beautiful natural geography offering recreational opportunities that change with the season. The Ice Age glacier that cut through the earth millions of years ago left behind rich farmland and rolling forested hills. There are over 231,000 natural acres in 40 parks, over 77 lakes and rivers, and 22 public golf courses. Visitors don’t just come in cars, they come by foot, on bikes, on snowmobiles and on cross-country skis to enjoy the Glacial Drumlin Bike Trail and the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
