Waupun has many unique features that make it an attractive spot for tourists. Known as “The City of Sculpture,” Waupun is home to seven original bronze sculptures located in beautiful outdoor parks and park-like settings. The feature piece in the collection is the renowned “End Of The Trail” by James Earl Fraser. This sculpture draws hundreds of visitors each year.

Those who love the outdoors can continue their ventures at the Horicon Marsh and the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge located just southwest of Waupun.

These naturalist areas are famous for their 219 species of birds and waterfowl with the marsh boasting a recent visit by a rare whooping crane. Whether you choose to take a driving tour, stroll the boardwalk, or take advantage of all the ways to travel the Wild Goose State Trail, each trip you make to the marsh will be a unique and exciting experience.
