The 12 elementary schools, five middle schools and four high schools that serve Coral Springs are part of the renowned Broward County School District. Additionally, residents support six private schools and a charter school (for grades six through 12), which was recently expanded by 12,000 square feet to make way for an Arts and Music Wing.

The Coral Springs Charter School has received an “A” rating for the past five consecutive years. The school also offers a number of innovative programs, including the ACE Academy, which integrates accelerated academics with professional mentoring from corporate leaders.

Throughout the city’s schools, diverse curriculums have been designed to equip our students for the 21st century. Schools deliberately keep their grade groupings tight to help children live up to their potential at all phases of the educational journey. Parents applaud this direction by consistently giving the schools five-star ratings in overall quality, principal leadership, teacher quality, extracurricular activities, parent involvement and safety/discipline.

No wonder Coral Springs students consistently make honors lists and score well above other schools in the state’s FCAT tests.

Approximately 40 percent of the city’s population has earned a bachelor’s degree or higher, but that number is on the rise, thanks to the Coral Springs College and University Partnership (CSCUP). CSCUP was established in 2005 as a service to the citizens of Coral Springs and employees who work within the city of Coral Springs and the north area of Broward County.

The partnership currently consists of Broward College (BC) and Barry University. Classes are currently being offered in business, public administration, technology, education and professional training and certifications. Additional course offerings and degree programs will be made available as new markets and partnerships emerge.

CSCUP is currently serving more than 700 students and anticipates the partnership will grow well beyond 1,000 students. Classes are currently being held at the Coral Springs Charter School at University Drive and Sample Road and the offices of the Coral Springs Economic Development Foundation and Chamber of Commerce at 11805 Heron Bay Boulevard.
