Chamber of Commerce

It has been an honor for the Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce (HACC) to serve the residents, member businesses and nonprofit groups for the last 53 years. As a Chamber, we strive each and every year to provide top-quality services to the communities of Homewood, Flossmoor and Glenwood. Our goal in the years to come is both to maintain the high standard of service we have set for ourselves and to come up with innovative ideas to assist our community in its future needs.

The HACC serves as a support system for our restaurants, retail merchants, service companies and nonprofit organizations. We provide these groups with numerous networking opportunities, such as, but not limited to, monthly luncheons, business after hours, our annual golf outing and our annual dinner. The HACC also grants our members numerous marketing opportunities via our monthly newsletter, the Homewood Days magazine and books like this one. We also ensure businesses have the ability to promote themselves to our members and to the community at large.

Our brand new Web site at provides each of our members with a link, so residents can access their Web site immediately. The HACC Web site consists of community resources, discount specials, information on our events, our monthly newsletter and a list of our members.

The HACC hosts two large community events every year. First is our Annual Juried Fine Art Fair. This year’s art fair will be our 29th annual fair. Top artists travel from throughout the Midwest to showcase their unique artwork. Our other major community event is Homewood Days. Homewood Days is a three-day festival that takes place in the heart of Downtown Homewood. Our residents enjoy great food and entertainment, activities for all ages and wonderful shopping. This event has become a tradition in Homewood for more than 35 years.

HACC members provide some of the best goods and services throughout the entire south suburbs. Please use this guide as a reference when visiting our community. In the back of this book you will find a list of all Chamber businesses. The Board of Directors and I greatly encourage you to shop locally. By doing so, you ensure that we maintain a strong and active business community.

Our members, along with the Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce, look forward to serving you, your family and your neighbors for many years to come. Thank you for your support of the local business community and of our Chamber.
